Born in Singapore and raised in the Kingdom of Nepal's Kathmandu, his career started to take off when he apprenticed at several local production/fashion houses and designed with Manish Arora while studying at New Delhi's National Institute of Fashion Technology, India.
Way before his position right now, he had already gained lots of experience in the fashion industry. 1999, he moved to New York City and interning for Donna Karan when also attending Parsons School of Designs at the same time, where he was awarded as the Best Designer in his first year at the annual Parsons / FIT design competition. Then he spent two years in Cynthia Rowley's design team after graduated from Parsons. Not just that, soon after, he became the design director at Bill Blass for five years until this year he took the chance to launch his own line of designer apparel.
